In December 2005 Lightshine Adoption Agency was
incorporated in the State of Washington. Lightshine
Adoption Agency, Inc. is a SEPARATE entity from Lightshine
(the charity). Both are non-profit corporations. Any excess
funds (after expenses) from the operation of Lightshine
Adoption Agency, will be rolled-over to Lightshine
(charity) or similar orphanage work.
February 14, 2006, Lightshine Adoption Agency was licensed
by the State of Washington (Department of Social and Health
Services), also approving Paul Eklund. M.A., J.D., as
director and JoAnn Vesper MSW as social worker (for
homestudies, pre and post-placement reports and similar
client services).
On August 18, 2006 Lightshine Adoption Agency, Inc. was
notified that it has been approved for adoptions in the
country of Peru by its licensing agency (MIMDES).
Lightshine Adoption Agency, Inc., anticipates receiving a
copy of the written license in August 2006. Peru, through
its governmental agency, MIMDES, has licensed Lightshine
Adoption Agency for the 'Guardian Angel' program, finding
homes for orphans who are 'hard to place' because of their
age (5 or older), because of a disability or
special/medical need, or because of the need to place
siblings in the same home (regardless of age).
Lightshine Adoption Agency is taking information regarding
inquiries, pending receipt of its license during August
2006. If you would like information about a potential
